Signet Signal Symbol / Walter Diethelm (Third Edition, 1976)

Walter Diethelm’s study of graphic signs brings together more than 2,000 marks and symbols with discussion of how they communicate. Examples are organised for comparison, while contributions from designers including Paul Rand and Adrian Frutiger examine the development and use of visual signs. The third edition presents the material in English, German and French.
