Echoes in the Silence: Drawings by Benjamin Levy / Daniel Piersol

Published for the 1998 exhibition at the New Orleans Museum of Art, this catalogue presents Benjamin Levy’s drawings through 24 full-page colour and black-and-white plates, additional illustrations and an essay by Daniel Piersol. It focuses on Levy’s dreamlike visual world and his use of graphite, ink, watercolour and gouache, where comic, innocent and unsettling elements coexist.
